Dr Erik X Alonso
Dr. Erik Alonso holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in Forensic Psychology from Albizu University. He also earned a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida International University and was inducted into the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society. Dr. Alonso is recognized for his outstanding academic achievements and is a member of the Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology.
He completed his residency in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at Miami Children's Hospital, specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychology. Dr. Alonso further enhanced his expertise through a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology, focusing on the Child and Adolescent Track at Miami Children's Hospital ~ Nicklaus Children's Hospital, an APA and APPIC Accredited Internship Site. Dr. Erik X. Alonso also served as a Court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem by the 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida and as a specialist with the Division of Family Court Services.
